How the plan works
- It groups your saved wineries into days of four or five, then puts each day in the order with the least driving, starting and ending where you are staying.
- Save a hotel and each day starts and ends there. Save an event with confirmed dates and you can plan the trip around it; it shows on the days it runs.
- Lunch goes in the middle of the day at a place you saved, or a picnic-provisions stop on your route if you did not save one. Coffee and dinner come from what you saved.
- Times are estimates: about 75 minutes per tasting, an hour for lunch, and driving times from OpenStreetMap data. Book ahead where noted, and check each place's hours before you go.
- Your saved list stays in this browser on this device. It is not sent to us. Opening a day in Google Maps sends that day's stops to Google.
